How to pay a credit card debt that has been taken over by attorney and is is court?

I have 2 credit card debts that are in court, one by the original creditor and one by a 3rd party and I never went to court for them because I never got served. I finally have the funds and would like to pay them off in full now but I want to do it outside of court and I want the plaintiffs to remove the debt from my report as soon as it is paid off. How do I approach this without getting a default judgment? I am unable to attend court because I am out of the country.
