I am being sued for credit card debt that I owe but am not able to pay,?

They have taken you to court and have won or about to win their civil case against you. After which they will be in a position to raid your bank accounts and garnish your wages. Your options are 1) do nothing and have your accounts raided and wages garnished, 2) settle up with them, or 3) try to declare bankruptcy. Since we don't know how much money is involved we have no idea of your chances at bankruptcy. BTW, due to all these proceedings your credit rating is screwed and will be for a long, long time. Getting a credit card, loan, mortgage, apartment, etc. will become all but impossible. Any chance you can get a better paying job or a 2nd part time job?
