Is it illegal to have a knife in your car (Florida)?

In Florida would keeping a knife (not a pocket knife) in a car e.g. in the glove compartment be illegal without having a concealed weapons permit? The blade of the knife is 10 inches, so it definitely is no pocket knife, but then again I'm not planning on attempting to carry it around in public.
