Why did the PCB sack Shahid Afridi when they should've sacked the coach Waqar 'the chucker' Younis instead?

I can never work Pakistanis out! Shahid 'Boom Boom' Afridi done well for his country (after losing 3 key players - Salman Butt, Mohammed Asif & the talented Mohammed Amir due to match fixing). I know that they lost the match against India in the field but he did well to guide them to the semi final. I heard he fell out with Waqar Younis! They should've sacked Waqar & appoint Wasim Akram as coach! I'm glad the BCCI are not that mad!
