I need help!!! really bad!!!!!?

well...i live in florida and i got my first ticket for not having my insurance on the 22nd of june. I thought you have 30 days to pay it, now i have to go to court. Can i still pay the ticket or wait till my court date. I don't know what to do!!! and yes i do have insurance!
