Me and my girlfriend are on vacation and she has eczema an it hurts her to swim any suggestions?

My girlfriend and I are on vacation in Florida and she has eczema on her arm and she has had it for awhile but it seems that it has gotten worse. She hasn't been to the doctor but she is going after we get back. It really hurts her arm to swim like in the ocean or in the pool. Does any one have any suggestions like any medication we can put on it so that it doesn't hurt her till we get back.
