What do it mean if a report card says denote core coures?

i just got my report card and it says denote core coures and idk what it mean do it mean i fail or pass am in 9th going to 10th i live in florida so i cant fail the 9th grade fi i pass should it says promoted idk what it mean someone tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
